Intermediate Stockpile and Jetty 2 Port Luwe

The Intermediate Stockpile and Jetty 2 Project at Luwe Port was executed to significantly enhance the company's material handling capacity and distribution chain efficiency.

Objective and Scope: This strategic infrastructure development involved the construction of an intermediate stockpile area for material consolidation and a second jetty (Jetty 2) to optimize loading and unloading operations. The scope encompassed detailed technical planning, land clearing, earthworks, area compaction, stockpile structure construction, and the complete development of the jetty facilities, including the pier structure, trestle, mooring system, and essential ancillary facilities.

Achievement and Impact: Implemented throughout 2022, the project stands as a key strategic accomplishment. It successfully established a more modern, reliable, and sustainable port infrastructure, thereby assuring the smooth continuity of the company's mining and distribution activities and substantially boosting overall logistical capacity.
